I will create a simple 'how to' for you after you accomplish the 3rd lesson and I have seen a number of your scripts. Now it is time to get set up to run /lpy from home. When you ask from support@thecodingkids.com for a key we will send you one like this 'ryWF4c1w0G2woZoApTq9bt'
You copy it and go to your mcpipy folder where you keep all your scripts for Minecraft. In that folder is a folder called mcpi.
C:\Users\spohnz\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mcpipy\mcpi
there you will find a file called security-template.py. open it in IDLE, it will look like this:
AUTHENTICATION_USERNAME=None
AUTHENTICATION_PASSWORD=None
You change the None values to your username and the key I sent you. so like this:
AUTHENTICATION_USERNAME='spohnz' AUTHENTICATION_PASSWORD='ryWF4c1w0G2woZoApTq9bt'
Now save as security.py
Open a Minecraft game and log into the server.
Test with a /lpy helloworld or some other smaller script. Again, Please do not run the scripts that come with the raspberry jam mod (other than helloworld.py). It is a good way to get banned. Keep your scripts necessary to survival and building.
